What the assessment measures

Where the nipple sits relative to the inframammary fold, which is the measurement that decides whether a lift is the right operation at all; how much skin is genuinely in excess and therefore how long the scar would be; what the existing tissue volume is, so that emptiness can be distinguished from droop; the quality and elasticity of the skin; and the position of the chest wall, which accounts for some asymmetry that no operation can change.

What to bring

A list of your current medications, including anything that affects clotting; your weight history over the past two years; and, if you have had breast surgery before, any previous operative notes. If you are considering a lift after pregnancy or after weight loss, say when those changes finished, because the timing affects how the plan is designed.

What happens if a lift is not for you

You will be told, and given the alternative that matches your problem: an augmentation where the issue is volume, a reduction where it is weight and symptoms, a combined or staged plan, or no operation at all. That is a result rather than a rejection, and it is worth asking what would have to change for the answer to become yes.

How to arrange it

Contact the outpatient line, or write through the address on the contact page, and say that you are asking about a breast lift. If you are travelling from outside Chongqing, say so when you book: the team can tell you what can be done by remote consultation and what needs an in-person examination.
